Ministry Opportunities
New Move-In VisitationThis is a great way to reach out to the community
in a non-confrontational way. See Pastor Mike. Shut-In MinistryIf you'd like to minister to those who are home bound
and unable to join us for worship, let Pastor Mike know. Food MinistryWe have an outreach to the community on Tuesday
and Friday evenings where we give food to those in need and share the gospel with them. If you'd like to get involved, see Pastor or Donnie. Ushers/GreetersWe need people to be both ushers (helping people to their seats, taking offering, communion, etc) and greeters (giving out bulletins, showing guests where to find things, and just sayin' "hey" to those who join us).
If you're interested in becoming an usher or greeter, see Pastor Mike. OvercomersIf you'd like to get involved in outreach through Overcomers (Christ-centered recovery meeting, Monday-Friday), either by learning to lead a group
or just by being a support to those who come, let Pastor Mike know. Kitchen Service OpportunityVictory Home is in need of volunteers (including groups) who can help with meals – either providing
a meal, helping with cooking/serving/cleanup, or helping to pick up food donations. Please see Melanie for details. |
Video AnnouncementsIf you'd like to make your debut on the big screen and help us out by delivering our announcements, see Bethany or Pastor Mike!
Music MinistryCan you play an instrument? Do you enjoy singing?
If you'd like to get involved with the music ministry (opportunities include worship team, worship band, choir, and ensembles), let Melanie Ellis know. CD MinistryWe need someone to run the CD ministry (recording, duplicating, distributing). If you would like to serve in this role, please see Pastor Mike.
Children's MinistryWe have several areas you can get involved with children's ministry:
If you'd like to serve in the nursery, see Renee Copley. If you'd like to serve in Jr. Church or Olympians, see Bethany Ellis. Teen MinistryThere's a great opportunity to be involved in the lives of the youth at Bethany, especially as we begin Word of Life this fall. If you'd like to be part of mentoring the teens and teaching them how to live for Jesus, let Pastor Mike or Bethany know.
