Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Mike Ellis grew up in a lost home and going to liberal churches that didn't preach
the gospel. Thanks to some unsaved friends who invited him to a Word of Life sports marathon, Pastor came to know the Lord. Saved at 18, Pastor Mike went to Bible College shortly after and soaked up as much as he could, with a passion to share the Good News
with as many people as possible. After graduation, he worked at a rescue mission in Greenville, SC, before he and his family moved to Virginia in 1991 to pastor. 
Pastor Mike and his wife, Melanie, have been married 30 years and have one daughter, Bethany (no connection to the church name!).
