Cameron was raised in a Christian home and grew up in the church. He gave his life to Christ at a young age and began to feel the call to ministry as a teen. Cameron began serving in the youth group and in music ministry and enjoyed being able to minister to young people with the hope of the Gospel. Though desiring to continue his education, circumstances interferred and school was put on hold.
In 2017, Cameron relocated from nothwest Georgia to Hampton Roads, where he met his wife, Bethany. Cameron and Bethany served in their church in the youth and music ministries as often as they were able. In 2020, Cameron was offered employment as a part time music leader. However, feeling the call again to full-time ministry, Cameron and Bethany began praying for an opportunity for Cameron to go back to school and be able to pursue full-time pastoral ministry.
In the spring of 2023, Pastor Dave approached Cameron about the possiblity of coming on staff at The Rescue Church as a Pastoral Assistant Intern with the purpose of learning ministry hands-on while pursuing his education. After much prayer, Cameron and Bethany accepted and Cameron joined the staff November 2023. Cameron is now pursuing his Pastoral Ministry degree at The College at Southeastern along with serving The Rescue Church.
Cameron and Bethany have been married 5 years and have two small children, Nathan and Evelyn. With what little free time they have, Cameron and Bethany enjoy going to the arcade, grabbing a coffee at Starbucks, and spending time with their extended family.
